The Bad News about Carbon Emissions
The UK alone emits around 25 million tones of CO2 a year - about 2% of global emissions.*
Even a small company of 10 staff can emit up approximatley 20 tonnes of CO2 a year.
Carbon emissions have already risen global temperatures by 0.5C. Unchecked, they could rise temperatures by up to 5C in our lifetimes.*
That's enough for a rise in sea levels that will submerge the homes of approx 200 million people worldwide...and to cause the extinction of up to 40% of wildlife species.*
There'll be up to 20 times more floods in winter and more droughts in the summer.
At Coco our aim is to encourage people to switch carbon neutral energy suppliers, reduce the amount of energy people use and offset any emsissions they cannot control.

We're realising there is a problem!

The voluntary offset market has achieved rapid growth from 2005-2007.
You Can Make a Difference
The 20 tons of carbon emission created by an office of 10 people would cost only about £200 a year to offset.
You could add your name to the ever growing list of carbon offsetters right now and make it easier for people searching for carbon neutral websites to find you right now.
